Nutria pups

The pond I walk past every morning has a whole herd of Nutria. And 4 pups, probably only a couple months old, that are out playing around. It's very cute. Especially when they play "king of the hill" and knock a duck over.

The wetlands are on Shute Road in Hillsboro. Take the 26 to the Shute Road exit, cross over the highway heading South. Go to the stop light after Evergreen road and turn left. Follow Shute and the wetlands are in between Dawson Creek Drive and Butler. The best bet for parking is the apartement complex that will be on your right and is just past the wetlands. Keep in mind that the area they roam is on both sides of Shute Road. The East side is Intel property.

That's why the best cooks always parboil the critters first. Hair comes right off!
